A huge THANK YOU to the volunteers working on the dinghy dock. It just looked so sad before. Brightens my day to see it repaired.

Did some boards get added to the dinghy dock today? Seems like some holes are filled in.

I'm working from home for the 3rd day in a row because I am iced in. St John has been constantly on my mind and I'm sure I am not the only one wishing I was there with you.

Have a great time being warm. Soak up some sun.

Enjoying your report and photos. Looking forward to the rest.

You said you'd do the Reef Bay hike on your own next time, but would you recommend the NPS sponsored hike for first-timers? I haven't done the hike yet and have been planning to call and reserve a spot on the NPS hike.

I have not been to Cuba lately. I was there in 2001 for a US-government sponsored food show. I didn't get to explore very much because I was working and did not get outside Havana. It was a very interesting place to visit and I do hope to return. I had an opportunity to go this past December, but it...

I rented from St John Car Rental last March. I was able to park in their lot one time when I came to Cruz Bay, the rest of the time it was full. I had a good experience with them, though, and will rent with them again this year. Having the option of parking in their lot (when there is space) is a pl...

Yoga on STJ

Has anyone ever taken a yoga class on STJ or know of anyone who teaches? I seem to remember seeing a truck driving around that said "Yoga with ???" -- can't remember the name. I started practicing yoga a few months back and one of the first thoughts I had was, "I've got to do this on ...

I was there March 2009. Flew into National and took public transportation into city. Got a good deal on a hotel near DuPont Circle. Convenient to subway.

Ditto earlier post about night monumnent viewing.

Have fun!

If you are talking about Hi Dee, a co-worker of mine has some family on-island that sent her a message. Isn't that the coolest thing? Wish someone would write for me.

Thank you Julie for asking what we all wanted to know.

It doesn't seem like the kind of job that would require being put out for bid. I'm wondering if the guy who had worked on it before had won a bid. Seems odd. But glad the question has been asked.
