I have not been to this restaurant myself, but a good friend who lives in PR went there recently and e-mailed me to ask when I was coming down because he'd found a restaurant I would love. http://www.yelp.com/biz/restaurante-airenumo-san-juan Though there are lots of restaurants in Old San Juan, my ...

I didn't think I ever missed anything on the web cam, but I missed this.

What about the dinghy dock? Does anyone know the story? Theyguy was working away a few months back and then just stopped. I could handle the few missing boards in the middle, but the end looks really sad.

Travel Vest

Does anyone have one of these travel vests? They are available in both men and women's versions. I just discovered these today and I think I'm going to have to order one. Would like to hear from someone who has tried them.

Hotel 1829

I stayed at the Hotel 1829 last March for two nights. They were experiencing water problems the first day I was there, but I was assured this was not common. It kind of gave me a poor first impression, though. The staff were very friendly and responsive. There are a lot of stairs -- you go up stairs...

9:15 departure decisions

Patr -- I have the same delimina and am wondering what you ended up doing. I'm looking at March travel dates. Like you, I prefer not to spend the night on STT, but it might be the most logical thing. I have 9:30 PM arrival time and 9:15 AM departure. I have pretty much conceded to stay first night i...

Try this website for a list of shopping. Clink on "Triangle to Salt Pond" for the link that includes Lily's. It does not include Love City, however.

This is barely out of MO and you may have already been there, but Eureka Springs, AR is one of my favorite places. There are quaint B&B's and Inns, as well as historic hotels. It is quiet, peaceful and not commercialized.

I have a new wide angle lens that I'm anxious to try out in STJ. Your gorgeous photo makes me all the more anxious to get there and see what the lens can do.

Thanks for sharing.

I always love to see the sandwriting. What did you use to write with?

Trip is shaping up. Will stay one night in Key Largo due to timing and 3 nights in Key West. Will fly into MIA and drive down. I understand the drive itself is part of the charm of the visit. I am very interested in photography, so suggestions about places I might not stumble across for great photo ...

Florida Keys

Planning my first trip to Florida Keys kind of last minute. Hoping someone on the board has some suggestions. Are there areas of town(s) I should avoid (safety issues?)? I plan to spend one or two nights in Key Largo and two nights in Key West. Will plan to do lots of driving around in between. Sugg...
