We were at Skinny Legs last month and they were unloading a box of hamburger meat from Omaha Steaks. I think their burgers are great.

We just got back last night. We had 1 full day of rain and 2 half days. The bugs are quite bad on the beaches. Definitely bring some spray or pick some up on island.

How's the water this week?

We'll be there later this week. There were some posts last week about strong surf on the north shore - wondering if that has calmed down? Anyone have some up to date info? Thanks - MIG

I think Chet is referring to Great Expectations, which also has a private tennis court. That one is between Hart Bay and Chocolate Bay.

I've used Dependable and Budget. Dependable has better customer service, but they are off airport so a little less convenient.

It's closed for good. There was an article a few months ago in the paper referenced on this board.

Sounds like their business plan did not grasp how bad business was down there in the low season. Couldn't make it work financially.

I had the same problem. I found that by deleting the virgin-islands-on-line.com cookie it seemed to reset and I was then able to log in again.
