The cleaning lady in the office claims she found it today in the bathroom. That seems almost impossible since I tore this place apart, but I am going to assume honesty and goodness in intentions.

First, thank you for all of your tips and help. I went to the Secretary of State's office (our DMV) first thing. I now have a paper license. My "real" license will not be here for 10 days. They assured me that the license and a birth certificate is sufficient. I can't rely on just that but...
