My favorite jewelry store on St. Croix is Sonya's and I purchased my gold hook bracelet from them almost 15 years ago. Since then I ordered some silver ones from them, too, but I also got a beautiful white and yellow gold one from a jewelry store a short distance form the Seaplane terminal. The wife...

Another one we like is Café Amici in the Riise Mall Passage. Check it out on http://www.cafeamicivi.com. A great Italian garden café with great drinks and good wine list. Good pizza too.

Re: I know, wrong forum...
You will love the place and it is a really good deal. Quiet but so beautiful with all the ships and smaller boats going into the harbor. We spend a week of our trip in February there and have a great time. It was renovated a few years ago. Lots of good places to eat downtown, Frenchtown and at Blueb...

Thanks, Exit Zero, for letting us know. We have been waiting for this for quite a while. We always used to take newbies there as part of our historical walk around Charlotte Amalie.

Re: Please don't say wrong island..
I agree with all of you. We love both islands but have been staying on STT most of our trips because of our timeshares at Bluebeard's Beach Club and the Elysian. Over the years we have also stayed on St. John and the larger hotels on STT. Our children since they were teenagers have preferred STT bec...

Wyndham and Margaritaville Partnering in St. Thomas
We saw this in the Daily News when we were down in February. Looks like it is really going to happen. Nice to see the them working on the old Renaissance.

Re: This is sad.
So sorry to hear about this. Utter Delight will be staying open "for now" as the owners put it. We always stop there on the way back from Magen's Bay and then went back during our stays in St. Thomas. They have the best milk shakes with added liquers that make them extra special. Let's hop...

Such good news....you could have been sitting on a beautiful beach in Costa Rica, but really missing St. John and and wishing you were there. Congratulations to Blaine and enjoy your two trips to your special place coming up.

Re: Salomon Beach
We were just there last week and hiked the Lind Point Trail to Salomon Beach. That was one thing on our "to do list" this year as we had already hiked to Honeymoon Beach a few years ago. It certainly was well worth it and such a beautiful beach. We were afraid it would be crowded but there...

Re: $35 Million house in the USVI??
I have to agree with you, Connie. The house is a bit ostentatious for me, but I like the house without the furnishings. I know how frustrated you must be like I am that people have not taken the time to drive around and see the beautiful areas. They continue with their remarks not caring how they mi...

Thanks for posting this information, Rocky Dock. We have been going to St. Thomas for over 45 years and have never been there. We have often thought about it and may do it in February. We have sat at Tickles and watched the ferry go back and forth.

STTlover....thanks so much for your trip report. I am really enjoying it especially the pictures of Lindquist Beach. That is one of our favorites and never many people there. Can't wait to get back in February.

Re: Since Craig n Sally's and Cuzzin's is closed for dinner,
You might like to try Hook, Line and Sinker in Frenchtown. They have good food, a nice location, and a friendly staff frequented by locals and visitors.
Glady's Cafe in the Royal Dane Mall downtown has all the typical West Indian food at lunchtime, but I think they close at 5PM.
