Re: Amore Loft Apartment and Studio
Hi, we have stayed there and the units are very nice, decorated beautifully with their pottery pieces/lighting fixtures, very clean and well supplied. We stayed 2 nights after a 7 night villa stay in Coral Bay and it was a great way to end a trip.

Re: Another Island ?
I'll second Anguilla, we went there many years before it became difficult to get there from the Midwest, then we found STJ. Very laid back and many great beaches, hotels for all price ranges. I keep meaning to try Anegada as well.

Re: Trip Report: July 13-22 Number 5
Thanks for the kind replies. We ended up getting back the Chicago hotel/food costs, via trip insurance. Verizon ended up charging us $250 even after they assured us multiple times that would not happen, had to fight with several managers to get them to reimburse $200, wasn't pleased with their servi...

Trip Report: July 13-22 Number 5
St John Trip Report – July 13-22 – Trip Number Five Travel: did a Wed-Friday schedule wanting 1 extra day than normal as we took the kids this time (2nd trip for them) and with the oldest starting college next year just wasn’t sure when we could all get down again. Glad I did the extra day as AA did...

Jim - we were pleased with Bougainvillea (Donald Schnell) last trip. Easy to work with coming and going, nice to have a parking spot if you need it (hop-skip to Quiet Mon/Woody's). They seem to be in the same price range. I plan on using them for our next trip. Happy planning.

Re: GoPro Users - Questions
I recently bought the Hero 4 silver and I would recommend buying a spare battery ($20). I find using the wifi with the iPhone app sucks the battery quicker, just know that going in. GoPros in general I think are battery hogs. Hero 4 comes with 3 cases and I believe the underwater case doesn't allow ...

Re: Polar Bear cooler sale Maho Jim / anyone interested
Hi, I have used the 24 can as a carry on for clothes, just didn't fill completely and scrunched it down tight. The buckles on each side allow you to compact it very well. I threw it in the overhead bin but it may have fit under the seat as well. I have 3 of these coolers and really, really like them.

Re: Time for a new travel cooler
We love polar bear coolers. I used a 24-can as my carry-on last trip, loaded with clothes while traveling, cooler while on island. Built to last. They occasionally have 2 for 1 promos which is a great deal.

Re: Verizon's Global Service
We were told the same thing from Verizon, Global/international not an option, $1.99 would be the fee. Now my wife called them a few times our 1st night and someone had her change a setting (I'll ask if she remembers what). We had problems with connections on Bordeaux the 1st few days but something k...

Re: Trip Report - Fourth Time's a Charm! 6/19-6/27
We went to Saloman which is about 1 mile from the NP visitors center, maybe 25-30 mins, easy-moderate hike. Honeymoon is another 10 mins past Saloman. Saloman is the quieter of the 2. There is a short spur trail before you get to Saloman that takes you to an overlook of Cruz Bay. Take extra water! T...

Forgot to mention size, it was much larger than expected. King bed with kitchen, fridge, living area, very nice bathroom.
