Ugh....Waterfront Bistro closing (for season) on Aug 11th

Ugh -- Just found out that my reservation on August 17th was cancelled because Waterfront Bistro decided to close early for the season. Can anyone give me a good recommendation for another alternative -- want a nice view of the sunset, upscale (but not uber fancy) dining options but nothing too craz...

Re: Seawing Villa?

Stayed there about 8 years ago with my wife. We love Coral Bay so the location was perfect as were the views. House was kept up well and was clean. Nothing too fancy but it worked out well for us and we really enjoyed it. I recall the driveway being VERY steep (but paved) but would still recommend a...

Nice Restaurants and Children

So we are bringing out 9 year old twins with us next week to STJ and want to find at least 1 night to go out for a "nice" restaurant -- e.g. Zozo's, Waterfront Bistro, etc. While I am not at all concerned from a behavior perspective, our kids admittedly don't have very sophisticated palate...

Cruise Ship Schedule

Can anyone point me to a link which shows the cruise ship schedule on STJ for August? I am trying to figure out which day we want to go / avoid Trunk Bay!

Thanks!

Looking to Share Charter Boat to BVI's week of August 10-17.

My wife and I (and are 9 year old twins) are looking for anyone interested in sharing a private charter boat to the BVI's for day during our vacation (Aug 3-10). Dates are flexible as is the itinerary just as long as get to have our kids see the Baths at some point. Please let me know if anyone is i...

Shared Charter - w/o Aug 10-17

So for better or worse, my wife and I have decided to take our 9 year old twins for their first trip to STJ. We have been 4-5 times "sans children" but felt they have reached an age where they would be able to entertain themselves (and give us some well needed downtime) and appreciate all ...

Re: Need Help Finding Villa(s) for Large Group (16)

I am thinking at least 6 -- 4 for adult couples and 2 for kids (assuming bunks/pullouts/etc).

Re: Need Help Finding Villa(s) for Large Group (16)

Thanks Charlie -- great property but ideally we were hoping for one with a few less "pods" and/or ones with internal access so the younger ones won't have to go outside if they need something at night, etc. http://www.greatexpectationsusvi.com/ Easy access into Cruz Bay, multiple swimming ...

Need Help Finding Villa(s) for Large Group (16)

For better or for worse, it looks like our trip to St. John this year will be as larger group of 16 - 8 adults and 8 children (ages 7-9). Our problem as you can imagine is finding a villa on St. John that will accommodate all of us without completely bankrupting us in the process. We are looking to ...

Thanks. Has anyone stayed in Ristaba or Villa Andrea? Those look like some other possibilities.

Family Friendly Villa w/Interior Access

After many years of getting St. John to ourselves, my wife and I have decided to finally take our kids (6 1/2 year old twins) to St. John for their first visit in June/July 2011. Our first order of business is to find a villa -- in particular one that has "interior access" bedrooms for bot...
