Re: Zika is essentially over in the VI
It's because the VI government is no longer cover the costs of the test, so no one is going to go pay to find out they have Zika when there is nothing you can do about it.

Exactly what Kevin said. No concern here at all.

Re: Loud music and glass beer bottles
Gibney is not an NPS beach but owned and managed by the VI government, so park rules do not apply. Residents can get a party permit for the beach and beach house and can then "close" to to a private function.

Re: TSA lines
The TSA precheck line was in use last week. Entrance is on the right along the wall prior to the boarding pass screeners. This is AFTER customs and check bag drop.

Anegada Day Trip
We have not done it yet, but it's on our to do list. Friend who have done it said its expensive (food and drink wise) and would recommend renting a car for the day to zip around otherwise you pretty much take a taxi to cow wreck beach and hang out there all day. They've said they prefer Jost/white b...

TSA lines
TSA and customs is pretty stable here (I fly out monthly for work). Federal jobs on the island are like gold so people don't really leave them like the mess that's going on stateside. This airport can be like Russian roulette. It could take 20 minutes or an entire three hours. I'm assuming you are o...

Re: Kiddle Beach
Iheartsj - you are sadly mistaken. These "owners" do not own the beach as all beaches are public also to the high water line . Also, the National Park DOES OWN the land to either side of the bay with beach frontage. You ARE NOT trespassing if you access the beach via national park land.

And on a note of that article posted, the park also gets rid of good park workers who are military veterans for no reason. Park management is currently a mess and loosing most of their good workers (they either want to leave or get pushed out).

Re: ST THOMAS DEPARTURE INFO
If you have baggage to check, you need to be at the airport 3 hours before your flight. The baggage/checkin counter closes 90 minutes prior to the flight. You're basically at the mercy of AA workers, not how long security/customs are.
