I live about 15 minutes from Atlantic City airport and used to fly Spirit all the time, but tired of the layover/transfer in FLL....this was prior to their baggage charges. We are 1 hour from PHL and a little under 2 hours from EWR and have made at least the last 4 trips out of Newark on Continental...

Hi Maggy, I guess I missed the decision to get the g11. I can tell already how much you like it. Good luck w/ it. It really is a wonderful camera!!! I too look forward to island pics, especially the spectacular ones you will take underwater. Susan...you did EXACTLY what I did a year ago at Best Buy....

Oh dear...the one that looked 'crooked', indeed looks sunk.
It looks like a beached vessel on lower left.
Seems the boats in general suffered the greatest damage from Earl.

Looks like a second boat lower in the screen but perhaps partially submerged? I can see the mast but not a good outline of the hull ... doesn't look right! Very sad! Those boats on the south shore didn't fare well .

I have an uncle who's name happened to be Earl...he was affectionately known as Uncle Buddy...may he be looking down upon all of you, keeping you in his hugely benevolent arms... be safe and take care.

Hi Maggy , I have the g11 which I purchased last fall prior to our St John trip. I do not have the underwater housing for that camera but an older smaller Canon SD600. It seemed silly at the time to purchase a second UW housing when I have a perfectly good one for a smaller camera, but I may do so i...

Thanks Susan!

I will continue researching to see if we can make GC work for us. Good to know The Westin met your needs. Anytime we stay at a Westin we would normally not use their restaurants either. Glad you commented on the ones you did like. I appreciate the info!

Thanks for the report Susan! We have considered the Westin on Grand Cayman. Can you give more info on the hotel like what kind of room you had and likes/dislikes of the resort itself? Sounds like you got all over the island . I will bookmark the report to refer back to it if we actually make it ther...

We have snorkeled the rocks in the center of Salt Pond the last 2 years w/ very different results. The first year was wonderful! Good, if not GREAT sea life, perfect water conditions and quite a delightful snorkel. Last Dec we went out the right side from Salt Pond to probably about 3 o'clock positi...

Another vote for Candi's !!! We ate her delicious BBQ a couple times last trip and due to parking convenience, personality and plain good food it gets my vote.

Lulu ... go for it, as long as your brother can do the trade for STJ. We have stayed in the hotel as well as the newer time share units, and visited the older hillside units. If the price is right, any of the time share units are perfectly fine. I would deem a car as a necessity... you may not need ...

We have found 10 nights to be the 'right' amount of time on St John. A week is definitely not enough time, and I have never been able to be gone a full 2 weeks. When 10 days roll around I am usually ready to get back home.

Very cute ecard! Love the chick at the end.
OK...break time over...back outside! It is delightful in the northeast. Hopefully it will begin to dry up some of the overly wet areas.
Happy EASTER!
