I agree...2 cars would be the only way I would do this...

My advise is to go to the south shore beaches..

was at Mis Lucy's last month and it was beautifull as always..They were packed and had really good music.. It was often breezy during our stay but as good as ever! South shore snorkling old friends and some good dancing at skinny leggs..

rocky shores always have urchins as opposed to sandy ones..you can put on fins at the waters edge and launch youself at 3 ft. of water. always try to limit your path as life is fragile everywhere.

we just got back from stj and rented from pipers jeeps. sat. to sat. or whatever doesn't seem to be an issue. we stayed about 2 weeks but got rid of the car early just to see what it be like to get around without one. everyone is in about the same price range. Went to Ireland in the summer for a wedding in co.Mayo(west coast)..Absoutly beautiful!!! visitted Cong where Quiet man was filmed--john wayne -catherine hepburn and surrounding areas..beyond words!!! Rented a house across from Clew Bay....you'll love this country..I suggest you fly in to shannon.
