It was hard to find, but I was curious and I finally found it on weather.com: The most precipitation on average occurs in November. September was second, October third. So fall is the rainy season.

We stayed at L'Esprit de la Vie in 2008, and I can only halfway recommend it. Good: nice veranda with furniture, nice pool, bedrooms were good size and a/c worked well, good view of Rendezvous Bay and Ditleff Point, except for...BAD: There are power lines in your line of vision. You tend to stop see...

Trip reports were just as good as I knew they'd be... If I had to choose between snorkeling with you or dining with you, I'd be hard pressed to choose. Fortunately, I get to read about both!

Been busy the last couple of days, finally logged on tonight to find first two installments of your trip report. Did a happy dance! You know how to travel, and you always teach me things about STJ, and snorkeling, and cooking that I didn't know before. Love them!

Really enjoying your trip reports! Like the others, I got a hoot out of the Scrabble board. I saved the picture to share with my STJ traveling friends - we can't go till next year, but when it's exactly a year out I'm going to send them that picture as a teaser!

I understand the hold that STJ has on you, we all do. But I think your ambivalence about Europe may be that you're going back to places you've already seen. There's so much to enjoy there...If you love Italy but you've done Tuscany, then you might love the Amalfi Coast. Or head someplace completely ...
