What was this?
Across from the lumberyard is an area with stone walls and pillars. Just enough to catch an outline of what used to be a building. Work trucks park there now but what was it on its prior life?

Re: underwater cameras
We just took our Nikon CoolPix S32 with us on the last trip (March) and it was great. Underwater pics and videos were great. I have seen a lot of videos from the GoPros and they're also pretty awesome.

Dealing with shore urchins
The last 2 visits we stayed in Hart Bay and Privateer Bay. We were super excited to be staying right at the water in both (just a walk down the path to the beach). Re: Turtles!
Where specifically in Maho? We always snorkel on the rocky area to the left. Other posts suggest grassy areas are the best, so i will gravitate there. I know Vie's has a huge grassy area to the right but it's shallow.
I'll stay in the grass. Thanks all!

Turtles!
Coming down next week (third time in 2 years) and plan to do a lot of snorkeling. So far i have been unable to swim with/see/spot turtles. Where might I find some this time of year? Rays were my other bucketlist 'swim with' creature and I filled that in Maho last trip. hoping to cross this one off t...
