Sailing was the most fun trip we ever took to the VI's! I'm jealous as hell! I think when we can afford to go back, our trip will be on a catamaran, not in a villa.

Make one of your first purchases a mosquito zapper racquet! You can get them at St. John Spice! You will not regret it. Take it in the car with you, and take it home with you. I've even killed BIG bugs with mine since we brought it back to the mainland, although it takes a longer zap!

My most recent camera is the Nikon Coolpix P510. I've always been a Canon girl, but I'm absolutely thrilled with the Nikon. It's not exactly pocket-size, but it's not as big as an SLR either. It has some amazing functions and the 42x optical zoom is wonderful. I'm really super happy with it!

It sort of looks like a Grunt, only the stripes are going the wrong way for a French Grunt. Maybe another type?

A woman here in Florida was arrested for trying to ride a manatee. There's no law specifically prohibiting it, but the State Manatee Sanctuary Act deems it a misdemeanor to harass them and she was fined $500. If Jimmy Buffett has a hand in it, it'll be a good thing, and will provide employment for more island residents, and revenue for the local businesses because of the visitors his name will draw. Maybe St. John's economy will show some improvement.
