I wonder if there is a way to protect / expand the life of the seals. Maybe a teeny tiny bit of vaseline would keep them from drying out (if drying out is the problem).

My favories are the good ol' Painkiller (4-2-1-1) and Mango Cruzan & pineapple juice.

Last year I got an Aquapac for our camera for our trip. It worked great. Just take care of it and rinse it off with fresh water when you're done with it for the day (the salt from the sea water will dry out the seals). http://www.aquapac.net/usastore/

Seems to me that Red Hook would be a little closer. When we went for the afternoon we took the ferry to Red Hook, then a taxi to Coral World.

I know how to set a picture as my wallpaper, but as is it's a bit too small. Ive got a widescreen monitor and it stretches/skewes the picture a lot.

Last July I was on a sail/snorkel with Han from FlyGirl (highly recommended by the way). We were moored in Hawksnest Bay when poped up one of them random 30 second downpours. As soon as the rain stopped and the sun came back out, a bunch of bees swarmed the boat and I got stung in the arm. Weird...

Other than taking decent pictures, Im interested in a snorkeling camera that can recored decent video as well. I think thats what attracted me to the TS3 at first (1920 x 1080 HD video). Does your camera take good video?
