CT, NY and NJ got HAMMERED by Sandy. 1/3 of CT has not power, and NJ adn NY got anniliated. I am going to STJ this Sunday to get AWAY from hurricanes.

I am a Dutch Oven cook...and willing to try anything. I will probably buy some goat, and soak it in milk for an hour+, and grill it with dry rubs from St. John Spice.... goat meat can be boney, so I will eat s l o w l y!!

Well, current forecasts call for rain on 10 of the 15 days that we will be in STJ.....So, any suggestions for activites when it is rainy? I sent an email to the folks at the Terrace, and they were kind enough to send me a pdf of their menu. Wonderful menu....I think you get what you pay for. Looks like quality, and I don;t mind paying for quality.

Sigh....just reviewed the extended forcast for STJ. We arrive on 11/4, and take the wlak of shame on 11/19. Most of the days call for rain, rain, rain. Yup, I know rain = free water. With cisterms, that is important. But really? Our first visit, means bring a rain coat. This week calls for 86 degree...
