I've found that Destination STJ is great to work with and have almost always been able to get some sort of discount (repeat customer, off season, etc.). Never hurts to ask!

Actually, if you Google 1 bedroom villas STJ V.I. a good selection comes up. Just noticed one called Grandview that I'd never seen before and it fits your budget. You might want to take a look.

Connie - I suggest going with a villa to get the full enjoyment out of the island. Some of the best parts are sitting on your own private deck at night listening to the frogs and watching the star show. You get plenty of people watching when you go into Cruz Bay or hang out at the various beaches. C...

All I can say is get ready to fall hopelessly in love with the place and be aware the you will forever have a unexplainable need to go back over and over. I only wish that I had discovered STJ in MY 20's instead of my 50's!!!!
