We are renting from Discount Car Rental on STT, and it is about $100 cheaper than anywhere on STJ for a Jeep Liberty. Their web site is www.discountcarvi.com and their phone number is 877-478-2833. The others who recommended we rent on STT just told me to make sure the Jeep is in good condition bef...

I've been away for a long time....back w/ a question!

No trips were planned and I couldn't bear to read (except occasionally) about paradise knowing I wouldn't be going! It is nice seeing some of the same names here. Continuity is a good thing! :) Well, due to ...

We have a US Scareways B of A Visa. Think twice about using them because it's seriously hard to get a flight you want unless you schedule it 6-8 months in advance. I tried to get tix to Hawaii and there was nothing available....10 months in advance of our trip! They have very few seats available for...

These posts are fun to read!

I would name my house "Endless Dream" or "Heart of the Sunrise".

Yeah, I am a Yes fan......

Nic, this is my review from May 2006...... I'll stop here and review a bit about Sundance villa. It has 3 bedrooms, all with A/C. The great room/kitchen area also has a/c now and it was nice to have (for the first time!). The view is killer. Lovely Hart Bay below and a clear view over to STT at nigh...

Nic, 4 of us stayed at Sundance last May. It's an older villa, but that's what makes it so affordable with the pool and hot tub. We had no complaints and no problems other than mosquitos. We couldn't sit outside w/o bug spray, but once sprayed we weren't bit. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans,...

I know my Visa covers some, but for our last trip I called our auto insurer and she said I was covered and did not need any extra insurance from the rental agency. In fact she faxed me a document to take with me if it was needed.

Definitely check with your own insurance company first!

Apparently there are a lot of peregrine falcon cams out there. A google search turned up about 6 of them. About their nests... >>The nest itself is little more than a shallow scrape, shaped by the birds in soil or accumulated debris. Wildlife biologists frequently provide a gravel-filled tray for ci...

This is a really cool link on the top of a building in San Jose. The eggs just hatched within the last day or so.

If that doesn't work, go to the city's home page and just follow the links
