Re: so apparently Sirenusa knew what terminex was using
Wow. Considering the residual effects and the real pain & suffering that poor family has and will endure, their lawyers have to go hard after the deep pockets that Terminex has on their primary and umbrella liability limits. That’s an incredibly lame warning and instruction for something that th...

Re: Suzuki Jimny
Indeed that vehicle is quite common on VG. I think you have to feed the iguanas under the hood that power it to make it over Gorda peak. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1567/26220587522_932445ed2b.jpg We yielded to this momma cow and calf when she gave us a dirty look as I think think the Jimney migh...

Re: What the what?
CBL is great for breakfast, even on Saturday departure day when we and many other folks had their luggage stashed against the wall as we had final meal/drinks before the ferry. The paving of the road to Francis has had the consequence of enabling MANY more jeeps to park along the road, making the be...

Re: What the what?
Regarding that accident on Jabobs Ladder on Friday, there was somebody who was supposed to meet me in town but couldn't get there and sent me this photo in a text as to the reason why. She said that truck blew a tire and slid back down the hill, also pointing out that locals behind a truck will ofte...

Re: 10 more days in paradise, final
As always, very NICE and thanks! Glad to see you haven't slowed down and your photography just gets better and better. A couple of questions: > What gear are you shooting with these days? > Did you use long sleeve and/or thicker rash guards to snorkel in to make up for the few degrees cooler this ti...

Re: Twin beds into kings?
This style is the rule in Europe and has the added benefit that you won't notice if the other person has a fitful night with tossing and turning = helpful when dealing with jet lag. I imagine it would only be a problem if you sleep in the middle.

Nice report and photos. Thanks. Yay for the Hog Heaven vista and my fav place on the planet - the "Guavaberry" Beach. Did Pearl or Roxy follow you down or come visit? :D With Caneel off the table, maybe there is some other VI combination in your future - - such as Cooper Island/Virgin Gord...

Clear your cookies then open 2 different browsers (ex: explorer and chrome) and go for 1 ticket on each. If they both come up at the cheaper price, go through and enter your info into both of them to the screen that is right before last "click to pay" button, then hit both as close as poss...

Re: AirFares??
There is also the “hidden city” trick that this link enables you to see if there is a connection that goes through your city. http://www.skiplagged.com There is some risk and a bunch of caveats with this - works best if are carry on only, if you book “multi-city” or one ways, and is even less likely...

Re: AirFares??
We are also going this year week before Easter and I am a bit apprehensive of the crowds - only other prime time/holiday trip was April 06. Paying $570 air which is about $200 more than usual but cant complain compared to what others cite here, plus got early NS time down and afternoon flight back. ...

Re: Consumer Rights when Airlines change flight schedule?
Anybody have first hand experience with a time change made by the airline on a ticket already purchased, but now the new time has a lower price? If you ask, will they "re-book" you at the lower price?
