Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays to all of our imaginary friends on VIOL. If you're on island for the holidays, we have our sailboat Echoes decorated with Christmas lights in the Coral Bay Harbor. Give a holler when you visit STJ. Sweet Christine is working at Jolly Dog in the Isola building between Aqua Bistro and C...

Re: Quick trip! Questions
$120 sounds like a roundtrip price, but that is a good reason to call the Westin.
I would rent a jeep. The beach at the Westin is man made and the water clarity is not good. The runoff from the ghut has a lot of bacteria and the water in the bay is frequently flagged for E Coli.
Regards, Rick

Thanks for the great trip report. The grouper at Cruz Bay Landing looked amazing!
I take the dreaded flight North today. But, I get to come back on Saturday! My new commute.

Fun time. Forumites going back to 2001 joined us. It was a rainy morning, so not as many as past years.

We'll be the white 43' monohull with blue canvas (I know, they all look alike) flying a pink pig from our flag halyard.

Our move to St. John
Final fruition of a plan I hatched in 1999, Sweet Christine and I are becoming St. John residents this year. We took our boat from the Chesapeake Bay to St. John and arrived in June. Our new to us liveaboard boat is Echoes and she will be staying in Coral Bay outside of hurricane season. This year s...

Halloween 2019 Rollcall
The forum gang will be back on St. John over Halloween. We've heard from 20+ forumites that they will be there. We have a few folks getting in later, so we are looking at a Maho Beach day Wednesday October 30 or Friday November 1 to maximize turnout. I'll post more as we hear more.

Another bar & restaurant on the water in the USVI. Another reason to skip the BVI day trip!

Yep, Lime Out is hauling out for hurricane season.
TBD is still posting on Facebook. Their Danforth announcement is out there too, but I have not seen them roll out the new brand yet.

Add TBD Pop-up Restaurant in the Isola building next to Cocoloba Plaza/Aqua Bistro. Caribbean Oasis is open Tuesday-Saturday. Lime Out is a floating taco bar off of Hansen Bay.
RIP Pickles.
