We have stayed at the Crown Plaza its right in Time Square great walking city you are able to get anywhere easy from there. Plan a lunch at "Top of the Rock" that time of year you will have a great view of the city. Have fun

We did that a couple years back, it was easy however we went during the morning and came home late afternoon. There was nobody around the beach was empty and Foxy's had maybe three people in it. If you go I would go later in the day and try to be there at night.
