Love the way you write, pip. Who needs a ticker when I have this to read! Finished travel day 1. I'm exhausted and excited to start vacation! LESDOTHIS.

But damn, a ticker would be nice. Sigh..

My sister-in-law is shocked that my husband and I are able to go carry-on-only (although not anymore with a new little one, I'm sure!). She would ask say things like "What about all your dresses? And shoes? And hair products?" You can try to explain this stuff to a chronic overpacker, but ...

Personally, I am dying to know who the landscapers were that rooted through your villa. This is so completely wrong and just crazy. ME TOO. The whole experience was negative, but this was particularly horrifying to me. And because of this thread, for any future villa rentals I plan to ask the agent...

Hi forum. Been a while. Most of these have been said already, but... Travel days are a huge pain. And it's not the easiest place to get to. Mosquitos. It's like they see me coming and tie on their lobster bibs! Francis was unbearable on our last trip. Everything is so expensive. I hate that STJ has ...

We were in a similar situation with our last trip (8 weeks pg on island). We didn't think twice about going. I don't even think I asked my doctor about traveling at that point! I was not high risk and there's very little that could keep me from going to STJ. However, I did end up having some ...

Congratulations guys! You make a great looking fam.

I'm due with my first any day now (due date is Sunday 1/10). Although we don't have a trip planned yet, we are so looking forward to introducing our little man to the island within the next year or so!

Yes those are the resident hermit crabs. And that wasn't even all of them! But just so you understand the perspective, this colony was located at least 20 feet below the deck, and there was no way for them to get up to the 'human area.' We didn't see one crab up on the deck in the time we were there...

cwaver, I know you reached out to ask me about this place a while back and I never got back to you. Life got in the way! But I thought I'd add to this thread with my feedback. The villa itself is beautiful. The deck is heaven, we spent most of our time there, using the telescope and binoculars to wa...

Thanks guys. This is our first. And it's very early, but we are so excited.

Am I a horrible person for being anxious about not drinking on island? I shouldn't complain, but good lawd. By 10am every morning I'm going to be hitting the seltzer water HARD.

My husband and I will be there, Sun-Sun 5/24-5/31. We'll soaking up every second because I think this may be the last trip for a while.

Although I think I said that last time too!
