Does Ditleff have sand or is it primarily a rubble beach?

Any recent visitors know if the Ditleff Point beach access is still accessible to the public? We are staying at Boatman's Point which is very close and would love to check out the beach before it becomes completely off-limits.

Can someone tell me if they finally finished building the Red Hook Terminal? They were about 60-70% done with it last June but didn't want to presume that they actually finished it yet! Projects like that seem to have a way of "lingering" on STT/STJ.

Does anyone know what are rental companies in town rent 4-Door Jeep Wranglers other than Denzil Clyne? Also -- does anyone know whether Denzil Clyne offers in-town parking? Our rental agent said Denzil is over by the public parking area near the NPS docks but since that lot is ALWAYS full, I wanted ...

Unfortunately, this does not help me for my trip in June (last travel by date is late May) but it does hold out hope that flights for my trip will come down from their current astronomical prices ($500+).
