Re: "St.john cottage"
I don't know anything about the cottage, but I went to the website to check it out, and I noticed that this cottage is NOT located in Cruz Bay, it is a 10 minute drive away. So if you are looking for a place located in Cruz Bay, this is not it.

We are also traveling in Aug and the first thing I did after booking was get trip insurance. The cost is minimal when compared to the cost of the trip.

The Trip is ON!
Finally, after a 10 year wait, we are returning to the Virgin Islands. Our first 4 nights will be at Guavaberry Spring Bay, followed by 7 on St. John. I've got questions... Traveling Aug 1, arriving STT at 3:15. Plan to take the 5:00 ferry from Charlotte Amalie to Virgin Gorda. We will be met at the...

Tell me about Prescription Dive Masks
My vision has deteriorated to the point where I can't get away without wearing my glasses if I really want to see what I'm looking at. I wear bifocals. Do they make bifocal dive masks? Where should I be looking? What can I expect to spend?

Re: Is this a huge mistake?
I decided that I did not want to worry about connections or possible future fare drops. This is a No Worries vacation. I've got flight down on US Airways out of DCA at 9:10 in the morning and putting us in STT at 3:15. That gives us plenty of time to get ourselve to the Charlotee Amalie ferry to Vir...

Re: Is this a huge mistake?
After careful consdieration I'm nixing the 26 minute conneciton. It would be a source of stress for me - who needs it. i've been trying all sorts of combinations of airlines to get me from here to there. The best I can seem to come up with booking each leg separately is $717 per - Yikes! I foiund a ...

Re: Full moon hike - Rams Head
Full moon is April 25, 6:43 PM. sunset is at 3:39. We did this hike leaving Salt Pond in the late afternoon so we were at the end of the hike just before sunset. We spread the neatsheet & ate the picnic supper we brought along while we watched the sunset. The moon was already up when we arrived ...

Re: Snorkeling
My husband and I did our first snorkel at Honeymoon. I am a strong swimmer but my husband is not, and neither of us had ever snorkeled before. It was a perfect first experience. Very easy entry, and we saw more than thirty-six (I stopped counting) varieties of fish on our first attempt, in water no ...
