Is Maho Jim done packing????

Post by Connie »

I know there's alot of people on Island, but seriously, where is he???

Any sightings? Evidentally, he wasn't at the beach bar, and he wasn't at Maho today.

Connie, someone told me he was at the Beach Bar, but I never saw him or even knew he was there!

He was there but for some reason he chose not to join all of us on the beach.

Hi everyone, it's been a while... :)

I don't want to speak for Jim, but it is pretty hard sometimes to walk up to a group of people....it was hard for me and I am a very outgoing person at home. The people I met were very nice but it was still awkward!

Jim is so outgoing and Amy is so beautiful, that she's hard to miss.

Keep yours eyes open!

I talked to them for a brief moment, I think he may have had a bit too much fun the day before and was not up for socializing.
I am sure he and Amy are having a great time!

Happy to report an MJ sighting! Ran into him while wandering through Wharfside Village Wednesday night. Had a great time meeting him and Sweet Amy, and his St. John newbie friends (Beth & Steve?) All of them super nice folks. Hope you guys had a good hike on Thursday.

Oh, and he did infom me "unpacking" was going as planned. Way to go my friend!

Good to hear!
I have to admit being pretty shy and reticent to approach crowds, such as at the Beach Bar, also. We missed two gatherings that we showed up for, but it wasn't obvious which group might be forumites, so....

Looking forward to hearing about your trip, Jim and Amy!

We ran into them again yesterday, they leave today.
They had a wonderful time and it seems that Jim had the same sickness that I did.
Shy is not a word that I would ever use for Jim, he just wasn't feeling well enough to join the party that night!

Hey there all you crazy people!
I'm just not a shy dude, and neither is my Sweetheart-
It's true, I was there, but I felt absolutely miserable.
Saw Nancy,Ron,X,Parafins,Pia,Ruth,RickG & Christine, and a few of you other groovy folks, but...
something must've happened the night/day before.
Saturday we enjoyed a lot of beach time, and then partied a bit at Skinny's for the Derby.
Now I know hangovers, but I was most definately not feeling hungover. It felt more like I was given a rufy, or bitten by something, or both; thus, I made a very short appearance at BB. I'm sorry for that, I would have loved to meet up with you, now I have to wait another year.I saw you all partying, and I was literally more than green with envy!!! Whatever illness I was hit with, kept me sleeping on the couch, almost unable to hold my head up, all day until @ 5-6:00 pm monday. Hard to explain, but most certainly not self induced..., and somehow didn't stop us from "unpacking"...
TR to come- sorry I missed the lot of you!
