St. John Inn, Tamarind Inn, Amore Loft (Schnell)

Post by jayseadee »

Looking for reasonable accommodations for 8-tuff weekend.

Has anyone stayed at any of the above recently? I've stayed at St. John Inn a few times and it has always worked for just a night or so. Can't remember if it was queen or full beds and their website doesn't provide that info (waiting for email response)

Amore looks great and reasonable, just not sure of "noise" given it's location.

Have never stayed at Tamarind.

Yes, we stayed at the Boutique hotel last year. Agree, it is very nice, clean and the staff is great. However, the night before 8-tuff, Fred's had a band - it was LOUD and the ear-plugs did not offer much relief and I did not get much sleep. Hoping to run on more than 4 hours sleep next time.

Hi, we stayed at Amore (Schnell) loft studio for 2 nights a few weeks ago, it was super nice and had no problem with noise, it's far enough from town to avoid noise but still very close for walking. Highly recommend it.

Forgot to mention size, it was much larger than expected. King bed with kitchen, fridge, living area, very nice bathroom.

Thanks. I saw somewhere that they had a 5 night minimum in season, but can't find where I read that. Anyway, I just sent them an email.

Wow, they responded quickly and have both the Studio and Suite available. I've stayed at one of their other villas and often use their car rentals - great customer service.
