New delivery service on island.....Bar Fly VI

To anyone who is on island... Good Morning!

News of St. John just posted a link to "Barfly VI" they deliver drinks and mixes to wherever you want on island with no delivery fee...

It all sounds great except, I was wondering how their prices compare to picking it all up yourself... If anyone could give me their cost comparison.. That would be so helpful... It would be nice not to have to do that drinks and mixers run after arriving, but if its not cost effective..then I will do the run myself... I just don't know the prices on island to compare to.

On a very quick glance - rum prices appear to be about $5.00 to $10.00 (depending on the type) per bottle higher than the store.

Flavored Cruzan is $17...you can get that pretty much anywhere for $10, sometimes less.

I wish them luck but will never be able to wrap my head around provisioning. The money I save shopping on my own is money I can spend somewhere else on island. I know that lots of people put a price on convenience but I just can not justify it.

This is just the conclusion that I came to. It's just not worth it. I would love to get there and not have to worry about the shopping for the food and drinks, but I cant see paying that much more for it.
I have also decided ..I want to pick out my own tomatoes and produce...
