Split vac Jost/STJ

Post by loverotties »

We are thinking about splitting up our vacation for 2015 between Jost/STJ . We have so much fun on the charter boats to Jost I think it would be great to have a couple days to chill there before heading to STJ . Anyone have any recommendations to stay in Jost for 3-4 days ?

We are doing the same thing! 4 days on STJ at Grande Bay and then 4 days on JVD at the Sandcastle! I can't wait to wake up on JVD and be the only ones on the beach!! We're going in July - maybe see you there -- you'lll recognize me. I'll be the one with the huge non-stop smile!

I know nothing about these, but have looked at them considering splitting vacation also!

We have never split our vacation between Jost/STJ. Although avid St John lovers, we stayed on Jost last October for 10 days and loved it.

We stayed at Sandy Ground Estates, in the Hide Away villa. So much fun.

White Bay Villas is great. There's a bit of a hill if you're walking the path, but its not that big a deal. It gives you the very fine White Bay view, shaded mornings and sunset and sunset view. Other options we like are Ivan's and Perfect Pineapple. Make sure you line up your transfer days with the ferry schedule.

Watch out, island hopping vacations are what drove us to take up sailing.

loverotties, its really easy to get schedules to line up. I went by myself the first time! That was sailing school from Tortola. Sweet (not) Christine was not too happy, but she got to four times in the next twelve months. I think she's okay now.

Cheers, RickG
