Just one phone call
We have a place to stay, working on the air fare and I thought.. oh, I will give the car rental place a call since I keep forgetting. Well, she answered and I heard the local dialect and that was all it took. I was so homesick to be on that ferry, watching the dock come into view.... sigh.

Hearing any of Kenny's Island songs...
A glass of ice filled halfway with Cruzan Dark and a splash of Diet Coke will do everytime

I couldn't take the DIF, so I started visiting more often and have my own piece of paradise. So many triggers, the smell of rum or sunscreen, bay rum (I don't wear it, but I sniff it), bleu cheese on a burger, bloody mary, the voice of one of my island friends...
