From the Virgin Islands Port Authority

**STORM UPDATE -- AIR AND SEAPORTS**

The US Coast Guard will close all US Virgin Islands seaports at 5pm today. Ferry service to St. John will cease at 5 p.m. Native Son Ferry had a 3:15pm service to the BVI and InterIsland has a scheduled 4:30pm service to the BVI as well. There will be no ferry service after 5pm today until the US Coast Guard has completed their assessments when the storm passes and determine that the ports are safe to reopen.

The Carnival Valor Cruise ship was in port today and will depart an hour early at 4pm. However, all cruise ships have cancelled their calls to St. Thomas on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

The Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas and the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix are both open. Flight cancellations have only been reported for arrivals to St. Thomas:

Jet Blue: 4:10 and 4:40 cancelled
Cape Air: 3:10 cancelled
American Airlines: last flight to St. Thomas cancelled.
