I have a St John problem.....

Last April I went to St John like this:
Hey, wouldn't it be great to go to St John? Google search for ticket, find a cheap fare, click purchase, fly out the next evening.

This time when Temporary St John Insanity struck I at least came away with two weeks to pack and organize.

Can anyone tell me what to expect in the beginning of December? I've only gone in the Spring or Summer before. Also, any of you afflicted with Spontaneous Get On The Plane disease too?

It's called "Island Fever" and is quite common.

Yes, I am afflicted! I had no plans to do STJ during the winter of 2015. We have a short trip in December to Disney and then another hiking trip to Zion in March...but then I saw the airfare which was a darn good price and I couldn't stop my finger from pressing "purchase"...my husbands a good sport, he just says alright, let's go!

Early December is great. You'll have fun and the water temperature is still pretty good. Things are a bit of a shoulder season between Thanksgiving and Christmas, nice timing.

I can't tell you about the weather as I've never been to SJ.....but I definitely share your affliction. I booked my ticket last week and arrive in a couple weeks myself!

We went last year from Dec 1-8. Had a fantastic time! Crowds were low and had only one day of full rain. The hardest part was coming back to Michigan and 6 inches of snow! Have a relaxing vacation
