End of an era on St. John (Palm Tree Charters sold)

Post by augie »

Captain John Brandi announced on the Palm Tree Charters Facebook page that health problems are precluding him from continuing and that he has sold Palm Tree Charters to Captain Jimmy and Bridgett.

First and foremost we want to extend our best wishes for continued improved health, but would be remiss to not pause and reflect on how great of an operation he and Sue ran, and how much they meant to the STJ community, locals and visitors alike!

I'm certain that they were very careful in who they chose to carry on with the business, but I don't think it's a slight to the new owners at all to say that there's only one Captain John!

We love you John and Sue!!

Thanks for all of the good times and memories!
Come see us!

I wholeheartedly agree. We have spent several enjoyable trips in the company of Captain John and I know he will be missed by many here on the forum. To John, we pray that your health issues are resolved. To the new owners, best of luck in your new venture.

I am sad to hear he is having challenges. We really enjoyed our day with him in 2013 and I recommended him every chance I got.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery so you can move on to your next adventure.

Capt. John our thoughts are with you.
Thank you for our wonderful first trip last May. My husband's first boat ride that he did not get sick. You knew just where to take us so the would be comfortable.
