Help with villa in Coral Bay / East End please .......?

Post by Jersey Shore »

Hello all, I am having Villa fever! It feels like I have looked at every villa on the island and I still have not found 'the one' yet - yikes! Can anyone help?

Ideally we want the East End or Coral Bay (but Bordeaux Carolina ok too)
Views and privacy important
Minimum 3 bed (1 needs to be a king)
Pool
AC in bedrooms
I was hoping to manage this for $2500 pw if possible

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated so that I can stop trawling the Internet and get back to my neglected family :)

Not much available in your price range.
Check out Maison Miele. It might work.

I'm assuming you're talking low season? If so, Satinwood fits most of your requirements. No AC, but we never needed it up that high with tradewinds pretty constant. We really enjoyed this house - out of all the places I've stayed, this is the one I would go back to. http://www.cimmaronstjohn.com/vacation- ... taID=39710

I know that house well Diana (it was my old "bosses" house) no a/c and no pool but great view and easy access - I have not seen it since they sold about 3/4 years ago.

In the listing it mentions A/C. Maybe they have added it in the bedrooms. It looks like a nice house though.

Thank you for the suggestion of Satinwood - it would work in every way, except for the lack of AC in the bedrooms.
And yes, I should have said this is for low season - last 2 weeks of June.
On the issue of price - $2500 is right where we want to be but can do maybe 300 a week over that for something really special :)
Thank you for your help!

We also prefer the east end. When our friends' villa is not available, we usually find something through Windspree. They've got two 3 bedroom villas listed that seem to fit your criteria: SeaGlass and Palladio's View. Good luck!!

Maison Miele is gorgeous - amazing views - but their 5 person rate for the last 2 weeks in june is $4515 per week.

Pool is really a must I'm afraid - we all love using it but our daughter pretty much lives in it!

Thank you for your suggestion Kathy, unfortunately it looks like Palladio's is not available for our dates and Seaglass (which looked lovely) just didn't have a workable bedroom layout :(

We will keep searching!

Here are some I haven't stayed at but came across it during my search for our spring break villa. I haven't checked your dates and I'm also not sure about AC (we've never used it on STJ due to breezes and time of year.)

Glen Mar http://stjohntour.com/Villa-Rentals/Glenmar.htm

This one has a shared pool:
Happy Our http://www.happyourstjohn.com/

Mimosa has a small pool: http://www.vrbo.com/19734#

Palladio's View (small pool): http://www.windspree.com/home.php/46/Pa ... %20View%20

Swogan's Dragon (it's more like Bordeaux Mtn area; I remember passing the entrance off Centerline during the 8 Tuff race.) http://www.vrbo.com/235315#

FYI Satinwood was also on my list - sounds nice!

I haven't checked availability on any of these.

Thankyou Chicagoans!
Mimosa is definitely on the list!

(GlenMar - not sure about that view, Pallido's is booked and has no AC, aqnd can't do the shared pool thing I'm afraid)
