Yesterday the US Army Corps of Engineers notified us that they are granting a 15-day extension to the Public Comment period regarding the proposed mega yacht marina in Coral Bay. We believe that one of the key reasons for this extension is the high volume of feedback they have received so far from the public regarding the impacts of the proposed marina. Other federal agencies are deeply concerned about the extensive environmental impacts. Everyone agrees that this is the type of project that requires careful review.
Our lawyers requested an extension so that we can offer the best possible public and expert comment, and it has been granted. Congratulations for all the work you've done so far !
If you've already written your letter, you can relax knowing you've met the deadline and contributed to this effort. There is no limit on letters - if you have more to say, SAY IT! If you haven't had time to write, no more excuses ! You have another 15 days !
