Tribord easybreath snorkel facemask

Post by krislbi »

Hi all,
I am on a search to find this innovative product. It seems to be in such high demand that people are selling them on eBay for three times the amount that the manufacturer sells them for-a few questions:
1-has anyone here used it?
2-does anyone know of a retailer that is selling them?
3-does anyone on island rent them?

Thanks in advance!!

The Beach Bum rents them on St John but I would call them and see if you can pre reserve as they rent quickly

I have reserved one for my visit in May. At $75/week for the rental, I probably should just buy one on eBay instead.

Never used it, just going by the rave reviews.

We have 4 of them.
got them via europe.
we did a test of them vs. standard masks on last trip in january.
there is a blog about it on our site.
overall i prefer them to the standard masks.
i will keep my normal mask as i do scuba as well.
much much greater area of view.
also much easier to become one with the water, breathing through mouth and nose.
they don't fog up.

Thanks all. I broke down and ordered one on eBay from a us based seller. The ones that were less expensive were coming from hong kong and was nervous about its authenticity plus we leave in two weeks so wanted someone that could guarantee delivery soon. I would love to buy another so if anyone knows anyone...let me know!! :D
Thanks!!!

Ok, y'all.
You have me curious.
First of all, how do you judge the size...? My lady is of average size...5ft- 7ish...small/medium build...???
Second, I found it on Amazon, they start at $209. Is that reasonable?
Third, I'm guessing that the lighter mask color is more desirable...?
Also- what's the difference between the Easybreath Snorkeling Mask Tribord, and the Tribord Atoll Easybreath Snorkeling Mask?
Thanks for starting this thread...
Smiles-

I rented one from Beach Bum in January and it is a wonderful thing, it fit me perfectly with no leaks, no fogging up, you just breathe normally. :D

Just reserved one from Beach Bum for our April trip. Thanks for the tip Pia! I thought I would try before I buy. Will report back!
