Kayak/Snorkel trip

Post by BuddyRock »

We're in the home stretch now and my focus is already slipping....must stay on task :) but first one more question...

Any recommendations or feedback on kayak & snorkel tours?
It will be me and Mr. Buddyrock along with our 2 boys (ages 8 & 12) We are all kayaking rookies so I figured a guided tour is better for our first go.
We are staying on the Coral Bay side.

Thanks!

I highly recommend a guided tour through Arawak. We took a guided snorkel/kayak tour of the mangroves in Hurricane Hole. We met them at their store in Mongoose Junction but we met others that joined us in Coral Bay. Truly awesome snorkeling in an amazing ecosystem. The only caution to this tour would be that the water is very "skinny" and you need to be able to move without stirring up the bottom or touching the corals.

I've heard good things about Hidden Reef as well. We haven't used them but I know there are others that recommend them. We met the owner before we went out on a snorkel in Hansen's Bay. She was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable.
