Twin beds into kings?

Post by northerngal »

Has anyone slept on one of these beds, when they push two twins to make a king? What are they like?

if the house is set up so that the beds are strapped together with something like a 'king-maker' then they can be very comfortable -- also unless the twins are XL twins you won't have the same length as a king (as regular twin beds are somewhat shorter than kings) -- so if you are tall -- and the length of the mattress is an issue (rather then just the width) you should probably ask that question

This style is the rule in Europe and has the added benefit that you won't notice if the other person has a fitful night with tossing and turning = helpful when dealing with jet lag. I imagine it would only be a problem if you sleep in the middle.
