Lion Fish Reporting Number

Post by DonBeyer »

Sorry if I may have missed it earlier. What is the Lion Fish reporting telephone number? I have prepared markers and plan to use them in March.

Any dive shop can help you out, call Low Key.

I have 340-201-2342 as the lionfish hotline in my phone.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

How is the lionfish issue going in St. John? We didn't see any during our snorkles at Blue Cobblestone, Francis, Waterlemon, Haulover, Hansen, Tektite, Lampshure, Salt Pond and Cinnamon. Maybe just luck of the draw?

We only saw one this past December '15 at Francis, none at our other snorkel stops (i.e. Little and Great Lameshur, Gallows/Frank Bay, Maho, Haulover South, Salt Pond, Hansen and Hawksnest). Didn't see any in 2014, and only one at Little Lameshur in 2013. Last month, since we had to stop by Low Key to switch out my wife's fin just after seeing the lion fish at Francis, we reported it to them (or maybe asked how to report it)..... she just said don't worry, "they" will find it (I can't remember who the "they" was that she was referring to). I wish I had the # above to just call myself.
