Anyone else been cheated out of money from these chiselers? Dave Rendinger left me holding the bag of the villa rental, airline tickets, jeep rental in an email to me the end of January '16. My reservation was for President's week in Feb. and I made the reservation in Sept of '15. He kept promising to return my money yet never quite managed that part. This is a felony theft. He will have a record at the end of it. Stay away from any entity with his name on it.

Long story short, he almost ruined our vacation some time ago.

We paid a deposit on a villa, got tickets, scheduled vacations from work, etc.

Months later, as our vacation approached, we saw that the website calendars for the villa still weren't reflecting our reserved dates correctly, and some were booked.

I spent weeks trying to communicate with him and the villa owners, who also weren't too happy with GCG. It was a real mess but it got straightened out, barely.

Extremely unprofessional, slow to reply, always had an excuse.
I'm shocked he's still at it.

Many years ago I rented from GCG. Back then it was David's Mom Pam I dealt with, everything except the work David was to do (which was cleaning the pool or minor repairs) was great. I wonder what happened to his family? I thought this was a family business and I thought David got caught up in a life of partying after the move to the island. They moved to STJ from Grand Rapids, MI to start the business, sad to hear things went so wrong for so many.
