Carnival Opening speech

Post by Exit Zero »

It has often been discussed here and elsewhere about the reticence of, and overall personal interactions with, Native St. Johnians .
This article underscores some of the local sentiment in play these days.

A very good book on the culture and history of St John that I often recommend is:
Cultural Adaptation & Resistance on St John by Karen Fog Olwig
ISBN : 0-8130-0818-2 published 1985
