Tourist Trap Larry's Retirement Plan

Post by BillVT »

When we were at the Tourist Trap in March, Larry explained his retirement plan.

He will move to Florida and find a neighborhood with a high concentration of take-out restaurants that deliver and a decent barroom. Where he actually lives will not matter that much. Then he will spend his day at the aforementioned barroom. When it is time to go home, he will order dinner to be delivered from one of the local establishments, walk over and ride home with the delivery driver.

We have chatted with Larry since his bartending days at Skinny's and Shipwreck. His brilliance remains undiminished.

Year's ago before the Trap he talked about Vieques being the place to retire to. I think Larry's retirement is a moveable feast. One thing for sure, I doubt he'll return to Manchester N.H.

The hike back up to the hill to the Salt Pond Bay parking lot was always easier knowing there was a frosty Drive Left Drink Right, a lobster roll and a jovial man drinking beer out of a can next to some Rock'em, Sock'em Robots awaiting me around the corner.

God speed into retirement, Larry.
