No real danger, when I lived there I met several white girls that were a very distinct minority at school and they never seem to have issues. There might be some incidents, nothing violent, I recall that happening to me when I lived in SE Asian countries.

As long as they are respectful of others I am sure it will be fine. They should remember that they are in another person's country, the islands are not America. Greet everyone with good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, that is a sign of respect in the islands.

There are plenty of 20 somethings, male and female, living on the islands. Most work in tourism, and a lot are working on boats.

Thank you, Annie.

I knew I could count on this place to put my mind at ease. I worry too much. :)
