Tourist Trap

Post by iheartsj »

It's official. The last day of business for Larry at the Trap was last night, Friday. Some of the locals hung around a bit after the kitchen closed. Hugs all around.

Went by today. The sign is down. The tarps are gone. I almost shed a tear.

We will miss Larry, his sense of humor, and musical library. Good luck to him in his next adventure.

So sad! We will really miss the Tourist Trap! Had a nice talk with Mary and Larry in January. We've got our t-shirts and memories. Will miss those Lobster Rolls, BBQ Nachos, the views and amazing atmosphere and the bananaquits. Was holding out hope they would work things out. Cheers and Drink Right and Keep Left!! :(

It is a shame the Tourist Trap had to close. It is this type of establishment that makes St John a special place to visit!

Farewell to Tourist Trap and especially Larry. Our hearts are broken. I am afraid we will never find another porktopia with the good nature of The Tourist Trap.
