The property taxes seem crazy low. I'm partly envious, but the lion's share of my property taxes goes to our public schools, which are excellent. Seems like the taxes could be higher to fund local education. Even a small increase could make a difference in the schools.

Maybe the crazy high energy costs offset the low taxes?
