We won't be in Key West but will be in Florida - going to St. Pete Beach for a few days!

First timers.
Flying to Miami, then driving down. Any suggestions for "must do's" on the way down?

A friend of mine said she did a jet ski all day tour that ended with a booze cruise on the way home. They were served a continental breakfast and dinner.
Anyone know about that...?

MJ:

As a suggestion for some free entertainment (and there's plenty of that in KW), head down to Schooner Wharf around 4pm or so. A fishing boat backs up and the crew, filleting their catch for the day, toss the remains off the stern.

Some big tarpon gather to partake in the feast, and a large bull shark also shows. But the real event is when the monster grouper ... that's its name ... appears. After seeing that beast, well, you tend to walk a little closer to the land side of the Bight's boardwalk.

BTW, for breakfast, Blue Heaven is really good. But get there early, especially on weekends.

Enjoy!
