As I was admiring the view from Bordeaux Mtn over Coral Bay I was thinking that a zip line from the gift shop on the mtn to Coral Bay would be a scream!
"got a drink in my hand and my toes in the sand"

verjoy,
your grandchildren might enjoy rock climbing--there is an outfit that does day trips where you rappel down a cliff face and then climb back up--it's fun (i did this with my daughter--scared the bejesus out of me to begin with !--she had a blast)
pm me if you want more information
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

That goes straight onto the ferry, right? No more Walk of Woe; it's now the Zip of Woe. Might not be so bad that way.

Lori~
My grandaughter "Zipline" did talk her entire family into parasailing while we were on St John, and they all had a blast!

Update on Zipline: She has since moved 200 miles away to go to school near the boyfriend and has a tat and nose ring. She and the boyfriend are studying to be social workers.

Ruth~
Are you cutting Capn Jay in on the profits? :P

LOL!

I think, if the line goes far enough, you'd run right into Sheila's Pot. Or, a Westin taxi driver. So, either the most rewarding or most disappointing end to that ride. :)
