Hisess, there are safes in every suite. the seven building faces STT and overlooks the pool. It's a great location, IMO!

Thank you for the report, agent. Looking forward to more. I enjoyed flying Cape Air allthough I was not so lucky to be the copilot - but nearly - I was placed just behind the pilot!

It's a beautiful morning. The skies have cleared and the air is light and so fresh. This little fella isn't as purty as the precocious little banana quits but he sure is friendly and makes a sweet little song.

Here comes the sun. Morning in Cruz Bay. I took these as the sun came up this morning.

Not just beautiful.....it is a spectacular day. Up early, we squared away our bags to move to the new room. The nice folks at Gallows (an understatement....they are fantastic) told us not to worry about sticking around, just pack our things and leave them by the door and they would deliver them to the new suite. We also had some things in the fridge which they transfered for us as well.

First stop Gibney...our favorite beach. We are earlybirds and were there by 9:15. Those of you who soak up the sun would not choose Gibney this early because the sun doesn't hit it full on until later in the day. For us it was perfect because we are all pigmentally challenged and it's best if we gradually become accustomed to the full force of the Caribbean sun. The patches of sun through though the palms is a perfect start for us.

86 and sons reported a school of blue tang out in the center reef but no underwater photos will be forthcoming. I was researching those but decided to wait on that. Watch this be the year that we finally find that octopus.

After a serene few hours we were all hungry so we headed to Island Blues in Coral Bay. As remembered the soup of the day was really tasty. Tomato with cream and cognac sprinkled with parm and fresh parsley. Really good and so was the blacked shrimp app. The guys loved their quesadillas and fried chicken...Gourmets-Are-Us reporting from Island Blues.

I hope this next installment doesn't cause you to think less of us but we are who we are. #2 son really loves the Westin pool so every year we drop by and pretend t be guests for an hour or two. We more than pay our way by way of a snack or beverage order and #2 gets his Westin fix. Besides, #1 son has informed us that he intends to be a photographer for National Geographic so it was our duty as parents to take him to a place where he could photograph wildlife in a perfectly manicured "wilderness."

When we returned to Gallows the staff had moved us to our new unit. I was mistaken, it isn't 8C it is 9C. It's just beautiful. Here are just two early shots, photobucket is loading slow so I'll do more in the am. Tonight dinner at Rhumblines. TBC......thanks for the nice comments folks!
