Does anyone know what villa this is?

Post by nothintolose »

Sorry I don't have a pic but there was a villa I found once when doing a villa search that sat on the very tip of one of the bluffs facing straight out to sea. It looked like it could practically fall off the land. I can't remember exactly which point it was on though.

I am pretty sure it was somewhere between Great Cruz Bay and Ditleff Point.

Also, has anyone stayed there?

Villa on a bluff

Post by Jo&Wally »

Take a look at a villa named "Sea Stone" It sounds like it might be it, We looked at the Villa when we were down several months ago and we have booked it for the end of May but have not stayed in it as yet.

Thanks Jo&Wally but that's not it. The house is actually on the edge of the bluff rather than the pool.

Some of the houses on Maria Bluff are like that. We stayed at Coqui some years ago and it was out on a point--you could not see any other houses from it. Here's a link:

This one appeared to be right on the point and one of the pics had a view from the water looking up. It looked as though the villa was built into the rocks.

Neither of the two posted so far are it

What villa?

I'll bet it's one we used to own, but which is now occupied year round. At Maria Bluff, between Great Cruz and Chocolate Hole. name is Beyond the Sea.

fbarnako - not sure but don't think that's it. I am not gonna rule it out as being the one.

This is driving me nuts

It could be on Contant Point also so add anything on that side of the island.

It sounds like the older home on Bovacap Point, near Seascape. It's a real cliff hanger with several wooden structures, connected by long decking. Not sure if it's a rental anymore.

I wonder if that's it. I found this one, Watercliff http://cateredto.com/VillaPage.php?id=WCF, on Contant Point, but not sure the one StJohnStlye descibed might be it.

Don't think that was it, but am adding it to the list. I think I want to stay on a bluff next time. Argonauta has me wanting to be even closer to the edge of the cliffs

There's another villa that I believe is on the West side of Chocolate Hole that fits this description. I'm trying to remember the name...
