My opinion of the perfect job...
My opinion of the perfect job...
My daughter just got a job with Forbes as a rater/inspector for major resorts. Grant you it's not the highest salary she's made in her career, but they pay her to stay at major resorts and use all of their services...spas, restaurants, conceire services, etc.
And she has to travel with someone so that she is not too obvious that she is an inspector. Guess who is first on her bidding list!!!!!
It's her dream job after years of putting in 14 hour days as a GM in high end restaurants.
Forbes took over Mobile in the rating system.
Woohoo!

Re: My opinion of the perfect job...
So when is she heading to the Westin or the Rosewood's Caneel?
And you know, she really needs to go back to a place 2 or 3 times to make sure the services are consistant, don't you think?
It does sound like the perfect job...hope you two have a great time!

Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.
Re: My opinion of the perfect job...
Does she go undercover?
That sounds like an interesting job. A friend of mine did something similar, her job was to travel internationally to scope out high-end hotels, mostly in Europe and Asia, for an event planning company.

Here is a good website that sort of explains what she'll be doing. It's still under Mobil, but it's now Forbes.

There's a large point system involved for a resort to move from a 3 star to a 4 or 5 star resort.
It's pretty exciting stuff.
P.S. I'm retiring the end of June 2013, so being a travel companion maybe my next job. But if she runs out of companions, I'll be sure to let you all know.
