I'm psyched about this...we watched the bruins win the cup from our rental condo in Aruba in 2011...that was a blast!

Maybe this will be another winning year for them, either way it WILL be good hockey!

Sorry, Sherb, but we were celebrating here in Chicago last night!

What a crazy exciting series... so many overtime games, then... two goals in 17 seconds!

(No, really, I'm not gloating.)

Thank you Sherban!

Coach Q lives not too far from me and several of my friends brought their kids to his house for TPing; he seems like a very gracious guy and took pictures with the kids. Two of my friends hung out and were invited to get a picture with the cup.

His daughter goes to the same high school as mine; when they won in 2010 the cup made the rounds at the middle school and both my kids got to see and touch it. The cup also makes the rounds here to local taverns so there's a 'Stanley watch' as fans try to make it somewhere in time to see the cup. It's pretty cool to have it so local.

I'm also a Cubs fan, so it's pretty nice to have a championship or two to make me feel better! (My daughter says that no one can accuse a Cubs fan of jumping on the bandwagon, because there never is a bandwagon.)
