Ya gotta love Maine...

...where else do you get 4 lobsters with 4 corn on the cob for $28 (sorry no shots of that) AND consistently great Rum Punch and Sangria EVERYWHERE? Not to mention Sea Dog Blueberry Ale - thats right, blueberry beer - - sounds odd, but delicious and more about the nose than any overwhelming fruity taste.

Some photos from recent trip over part of Labor Day weekend to Ogunquit:

Great photos! I've gotten obsessed with Cape Cod and have not been up to Maine in ages. Maybe we'll drive up during the foliage season.

We were up in Boothbay Harbor last year; was amazed at how cheap lobster was, some apparent overabundance. We explored the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens-soooo pretty! We were there in the rain and enjoyed it enormously so I can only imagine how nice it must be in good weather. :)
